.......... What?
A lot of people say they don't like motion controls because they look gimmicky but I find them to be quite good when done properly, which could almost be said for any type controls to be honest. We can't stay on dual analog forever.

What? I know DI was hyped to an extent.
Finally!
I see lots of people saying how Zelda needs to change so it can be more like this and that. In truth, the formula that Zelda has is truly unique as it is. We are not seeing enough of these types of games like we have from other genres like Action and FPS game, which we always see evey year to the point where it's almost done to death. That's why it doesn't need to change.

If this is at all true, thank you for recognizing how much that lazy lesser on-rails experience is actually worth. Shame they couldn't take this act on the Wii version instead of trying to rip people off. ;3

Yet despite all of those the Wii is still a home console and very relevant in this little bogus cansole war. I disagree, the Wii is very much current gen. As long as it can do the simple thing last gen can't or have what last gen doesn't ( and then some ) it can perfect be called next gen, or in this case current gen.
Your reply to Moon about how you use the 360 I can easy use for the PS3, which I do own. In fact, I made this very reply using the PS3's...
I''l start caring when it comes directly from Ninty. Besides, it's too soon in my opinion .
May be a little off subject but----- Ubi needs to be banned from making titles for Nintendo platforms, or at least fire the teams behind the imagine series and such.

Can you say : "No self control"?
That's the thing really. A lot people these days want video games to be more like movies (in a sense of speaking), which isn't necessary in my opinion. I can do just fine with without any of that.
You see, that's the thing. Look at the pattern in all of those titles there. What do they have in common? For one, they are first party Nintendo titles and they are well known franchise titles. So, naturally they will sell based on so little. Also, I was constantly seeing ads for Brawl during morning children's program hours and WWE wrestling (which apprently gets a lot of views), same thing with Carnival Games.
Third parties generally need to advertise when making titles that ...

Another point in my post was advertising. If a title is released such as No More Heroes, or whatever, they fail to advertise it properly. I wasn't talking about just quality.
Lol Look at you, trying to down play quality titles. The point of my listing those titles were to prove that they are still making quality titles for the hardcore gamer.
"NSMBWii was a good game but only a small step-up from the DS iteration and lacked some creativity in terms of...
fear88:
The reason they have expressed dissatisfaction is because they expected their titles to sell even with a lot of their titles having lack great quality and a high majority of them having ill advertising. They undoubtedly didn't really care too much for the Wii as they didn't the other platforms, even from the beginning of it's life. With their lack of those elements, especially proper advertising, they naturally fall short. But whatever. I'm sure you would want to pay full retail...

Real console? Hey, ever herd of gaming for the sake of being a gamer? Please, with all of your might, explain to me how a home video game console is any less of home video game console even though it is fully capable of playing video games? This may be hard for you to grasp but some people actually buy consoles to play games on regardless of how 'real' a console may seem to be.
I hope this isn't what we have to deal with in the next gen. LOf*ckinL
Eh? Why is the 'adult market' so important again? As for the term 'hardcore', assuming this is about the games themselves, what exactly makes a video game 'hardcore'? I really want to know how it suddenly became an official video game genre. 'Hardcore console? The hell? Ok, now we are just being silly here. If 'hardcore' had anything to do with gaming, shouldn't it relate to the actual gamer rather than the games/consoles?
Anyway, MadWorld was a 4-6 hour near easy niche game very li...
@MK_Red:
What are you talking about? Dead Space: Extraction and MadWorld were not only niche games but weren't advertised enough to lift them up. And to be honest, they got the sales they deserved. MadWorld was a 4-6 hour easy game with little to almost no reply value. Dead Space: Extraction was a lesser quality rail shooter title apart of a series that used a stronger formula, also with little reply value, there to 'test' the 'hardcore' market.
Capcom and EA were idiots by...
Stop 'testing' the market and we may get somewhere, third parties.
I usually go into better detail, but I feel it's just a waste of time.
Blame the advertising department. I was constantly seeing more ads for Carnival Games than a lot of these third party "efforts".
"Mom and Dad"? You mean family gaming, which I fail to see how that is actually a problem considering how that's their campaign of wanting to make the Wii everyone's gaming. While it maybe ture that some of their Wii titles arguably aren't as good as their predecessors it doesn't change the fact those titles are still of great quality and still at the top, some even with better reply value than some quality HD games. And it's like I said, we are just recently starting to see third p...
Look at this! It's pathetic! I hope nobody actually blames Nintendo for this.
